Choir Officers
Meet the 2023-2024 EHS Choir Officers!

President
Kemuel Santiago
Kemuel Santiago is entering his 7th year in choir and his second year serving as the EHS Choir President, he is a rising Junior. He joined choir in 5th grade and was apart of the 2018 TMEA Performing Choir “Garland Children’s Chorus”. In 6th grade for his first solo-ensemble he earned division 1 ratings; as well as outstanding soloist. He was also the very first All-Region and Pre-Area member for Emerson Choir, and at last year’s solo-ensemble he qualified for state. He is ecstatic to be leading the EHS Choir Program for another year, and to see how the program continues to grow!
Co-Vice President
Camilla Joanne Manlapaz
Camilla Manlapaz is an upcoming senior ready to serve as your EHS Co-Vice President for the second year in a row! Although she joined choir (on a whim) freshman year, she has been involved in music since she was 6, starting with piano and other instruments along the way. Through her years in the Emerson High School Choir, she has participated in All-Region competition, the pop group: Revolution, and was a state qualifier for solo and ensemble last year. She is thrilled to be part of the officer team for the upcoming 2023-24 school year, and she can’t wait for all the new memories and songs to be sung!

Co-Vice President
Nicholas Maurent
I’m Nicholas Maurent. I was born on September 7, 2006. I live with my mom, stepdad, and 6 siblings. I’m gonna be famous one day. My mom always told me before I knew how to talk I knew how to sing. I would him tunes and come up with different melodies. It was only time before I picked up the art. It’s what I want to do more than anything and I can’t wait to share that experience with everyone around me :))
Historian/Secretary
Jahnavi Nadig
Hi! My name is Jahnavi, and I'm your Historian/Secretary. I love music as much as I do making friends, so don't be afraid to chat! I'll be running our Instagram and Facebook (and MAYBE, Mr. Orr's Insta fan page) and documenting our memories. I'm also here for any help you need. Here's to a great year, let's have some fun!
